PHYSIOTHERAPY & ACUPUNCTURE

Our Physiotherapist is Elaine McBride who graduated from Teeside University in 2004 and has worked in the NHS and privately since and is currently practising as a Senior Clinician. Elaine has a specialist interest in the treatment of Musculoskeletal conditions and utilises her skills in acupuncture, manual therapy and exercise prescription to achieve optimum results based on individual client requirements.

Incorporated in the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions are; spinal pain, whiplash injuries, neuropathic and nerve related pain, shoulder pain, arthritic syndromes, sporting injuries, dizziness, facial pain, headaches and migraine and along with multitude of other conditions. Treatments of these conditions are designed to alleviate pain, promote healing, restore function and promote self management. This will often also include the use of electrotherapy, soft tissue manipulation, joint mobilisations and provision of exercise regimen. Elaine also has experience working in Occupational Health with basic workplace assessments, ergonomics and medico-legal work alongside designated law firms.

Elaine is currently working towards a Masters degree in Physiotherapy and continues to build on her existing knowledge with ongoing involvement in research and service development, attending courses to increase her repertoire of skills to maximise the clients’ outcome and provide an outstanding service.

SEMI-PERMANENT MAKEUP

Our fully qualified cosmetic tattooist is Jan-martine Edwards. Jan-martine is skilled in the art of block brows, feather brows and powder brows. Other treatments available are eye liner, eye lash enhancement, lip liner and a lip blush. Otherwise known as semi- permanent make-up, it's a fantastic treatment to have to even out uneven brows, or create a more dramatic brow. Perfect for those clients who frequent the gym, or even if you have a holiday planned. Waking up to make-up is a nice way to start your day!! Exceptionally good for oily skins who suffer with make- up and brows smudging.

The up to date digital equipment is used so its quick and easy to have.
